PERFECTLY IMPERFECT TABLEWARE

 Broste Copenhagen tableware

Back when I was a control-freak and suffered from mild OCD (I could've been worse!), I liked everything neat and in its place. My need for order was reflected in my choice of home decor - something I have written about previously - and I strived to create a 'show home' style.

Maybe it comes with age but I've mellowed somewhat: now I even leave the cats' toys stroon around the living room and it doesn't bother me (much).  This new, relaxed attitude is also becoming apparent in my choice of interior accessories.  If you've seen my Pinterest feed you may have guessed that I'm quite fond of a rustic style, something that a few years ago would have seemed incomprehensible.  Nowadays I like things that have slight imperfections and are a little rough around the edges but have character and personality (although, given my taste in men, perhaps this has always been the case!).

When it comes to tableware, whereas previously I coveted a Vera Wang for Wedgwood dinner service, these days I am drawn to simple design.  Although I love my Denby dinnerware, when I move I want to start over with some proper wibbly-wobbly ceramics.

Here are a few things I'm adding to the ever-growing wish list...
