MONOCHROME MOMENT #16

Good morning!  As we begin what weather forecasters are predicting to be the coldest February week for several years (brrr!) I thought I'd share this picture to show that black and white can actually be cosy.  

Monochrome schemes do have a tendency to look too contrived but I love the relaxed style of this room.  The different textures on the bed and the old trunk for a bedside table give it warmth and character, the slightly haphazard arrangement of pictures on the wall ensures an informal feel.  

I think this is definitely going to be a week to hunker down and stay indoors. Layer up, get the hot water bottle out and stay warm everyone!
