HIMEROS
(Him-eyr-oss)
Not officially one of the types of love as categorised by the Greek philosophers but one of their deities nonetheless. Himeros is the brother to Eros and represents desire and unrequited love. There is a feeling of longing and a yearning deep within. It is a wanting that is, at present, unfulfilled but which carries with it the motivation and drive to succeed.
Be The Love is a series of nine pieces inspired by love of all kinds. Created intuitively using a simple and quietly elegant palette of gentle neutrals, blush pinks and soft greens representative of compassion, each piece depicts a type of love as categorised by Greek philosophy.
